Notational conventions¶
The pages of this documentation use the following notational conventions throughout.
| Formatting | Description |

| Text in bold | Identifies screen elements of the interface, such as views, tabs, buttons, fields, and messages. |
| Links | Identifies references to other sections of this documentation and to external sources. |
Text in monospace |
Identifies commands, code, endpoints, addresses, and input. |
<ABC> |
Identifies a placeholder that the application fills with the respective value, such as the name of the selected object. |
| ☑ | Identifies a prerequisite that must be fulfilled before the first step. |
| ► | Identifies a step that you perform. |
| ▷ | Identifies a subordinate step. |
| ↳ | Identifies the interim result after one or more steps. |
| ➔ | Identifies the result that is available after the last step. |
| ■ | Identifies an item of a list, such as the sections that an overview summarizes. |
| Note | Identifies information that supports the procedure. The information appears as a separate box or, within a table cell, as a short form in the cell. |
| Attention | Identifies information that, if not observed, leads to incorrect settings, additional cost, or data loss. |
