Entries in the New Token dialog

You set the following entries when you create the token:

Entry Description
**Gateway *** Gateway that the token applies to. The drop-down list contains the gateways of all tenants that you are permitted to use, in the form /. The entry is mandatory. The first gateway of the list is preselected.
Label Name of the token in the list, for example dev laptop. The entry is optional. Without a name, the Label column shows — later.
Expires At Date and time on which the token becomes invalid. The field carries the Leave blank = never expires note.
Budget (USD) Spend budget of the token in US dollars. The field carries the unlimited placeholder. Without an entry, the token does not limit the cost.
Rate limit (req/window) Number of requests in the left field and length of the time window in seconds in the right field, at least 1 each. The right field is preset to 60 and stays disabled while the left field is empty. The field carries the requests / window_sec (blank = gateway default) note.

The following options are available in the dialog:

Option Description
Create Token button Creates the token and opens the Token Created dialog. While the token is created, the button has the Creating… label. The button is disabled while no gateway is selected.
Cancel button Closes the dialog without creating the token.

Note

If no gateway is selected, the dialog shows Select a gateway. The token always carries the inference scope. You cannot give it a different scope.
