Initial setup¶
After the installation, Myra AI Workspace is empty. The following objects do not exist yet:
- ■ tenant
- ■ gateway
- ■ provider key
Only when a gateway carries at least one enabled model does Myra AI Workspace accept a request. The following sections take you through the initial setup in the sequence in which the steps build on each other.
The following requirements are met:
- ☑ Your user account has the Manage gateways and routing permission.
- ☑ Your user account has the Manage tenants permission if you create a tenant.
- ☑ An API key of the applicable provider is available, or you use a platform key from Myra.
The following steps are necessary:
| Step | Result |
|---|---|
| 1. Create a tenant | The tenant exists and carries a plan. |
| 2. Create a gateway | The gateway has an endpoint URL. |
| 3. Enable a model | The gateway forwards requests to the provider. |
| 4. Set a budget and a rate limit | The spend and the load are capped. |
| 5. Set up the guardrails | The gateway examines the content of the requests and the responses. |
| 6. Examine the roles | The permissions agree with the structure of your organization. |
| 7. Create the user accounts | The users get their invitation. |
| 8. Create the groups | The access to agents, projects, and connectors is grouped. |
| 9. Issue a token | Applications outside the interface reach the gateway. |
| 10. Send a test request and examine it | The setup is demonstrably complete. |
