Entries in the New Token dialog¶
You set the following entries when you create the token:
| Entry | Description |
|---|---|
| **Gateway *** | Gateway that the token applies to. The drop-down list contains the gateways of all tenants that you are permitted to use, in the form |
| Label | Name of the token in the list, for example dev laptop. The entry is optional. Without a name, the Label column shows — later. |
| Expires At | Date and time on which the token becomes invalid. The field carries the Leave blank = never expires note. |
| Budget (USD) | Spend budget of the token in US dollars. The field carries the unlimited placeholder. Without an entry, the token does not limit the cost. |
| Rate limit (req/window) | Number of requests in the left field and length of the time window in seconds in the right field, at least 1 each. The right field is preset to 60 and stays disabled while the left field is empty. The field carries the requests / window_sec (blank = gateway default) note. |
The following options are available in the dialog:
| Option | Description |
|---|---|
| Create Token button | Creates the token and opens the Token Created dialog. While the token is created, the button has the Creating… label. The button is disabled while no gateway is selected. |
| Cancel button | Closes the dialog without creating the token. |
Note
If no gateway is selected, the dialog shows Select a gateway. The token always carries the inference scope. You cannot give it a different scope.
