Initial setup

Your tenant already exists. The operator of Myra AI Workspace created it. What is still missing is the access to a model. Only when a gateway of your tenant carries at least one enabled model does Myra AI Workspace accept a request. The following sections take you through the initial setup in the sequence in which the steps build on each other.

The following requirements are met:

  • ☑ Your user account has the Manage gateways and routing permission.
  • ☑ Your user account has the Manage tenant users permission if you create user accounts.
  • ☑ An API key of the applicable provider is available, or you use a platform key from Myra.

The following steps are necessary:

1. Create a gateway The gateway has an endpoint URL.
2. Enable a model The gateway forwards requests to the provider.
3. Set a budget and a rate limit The spend and the load are capped.
4. Set up the guardrails The gateway examines the content of the requests and the responses.
5. Examine the roles The permissions agree with the structure of your organization.
6. Create the user accounts The users get their access.
7. Create the groups The access to agents, projects, and connectors is grouped.
8. Issue a token Applications outside the interface reach the gateway.
9. Send a test request and examine it The setup is demonstrably complete.

Note

For the AI Manager and Finance roles, no setup task is necessary before the first use. The AI Manager role sets up the Preferences group, its tokens, and its MCP connectors if it wants. For the Finance role, the optional settings are limited to the Preferences group.
